  • Undergraduate Students
    Undergraduate Orientation

    All new undergraduate students are required to participate in first-year orientation to meet other students and learn about 58³Ô¹ÏÍø’s programs, processes and resources. Explore the 2023 orientation schedule

    During the orientation, you will meet fellow undergraduate students and hear from President Paul Hogle, Executive Vice President and Provost Scott Harrison and other academic leaders at 58³Ô¹ÏÍø. Other activities include:

    • An introduction to Eurhythmics, a discipline which has been a part of 58³Ô¹ÏÍø curriculum since its founding
    • Meeting the Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA) team
    • A group outing to Mitchell's Ice Cream, a local Cleveland treasure
    • A goal-setting session where you can set a vision for your time at 58³Ô¹ÏÍø

     

  • Graduate Students
    Graduate Orientation

    All new graduate students are required to participate in 58³Ô¹ÏÍø's orientation. Our graduate orientation offers opportunities for students to connect with their peers and faculty, and learn about key resources. Explore the 2023 graduate orientation schedule.

    During the orientation, you will meet fellow graduate students and hear from President Paul Hogle, Executive Vice President and Provost Scott Harrison and other academic leaders at 58³Ô¹ÏÍø. Other activities include:

    • A goal-setting session where you can set a vision for your time at 58³Ô¹ÏÍø
    • Learning about student support services and resources at 58³Ô¹ÏÍø and CWRU
    • A grad student happy hour at Bottlehouse Brewing in Cleveland Heights
    • The opportunity to speak with current students (over coffee!)

     

  • International Students
    International Student Orientation

    All new incoming international students are required to participate in an orientation. Explore the 2023 orientation schedules for undergraduate and graduate students.

    During orientation, you will meet fellow students and gain a wealth of useful information, including:

    • Maintaining your Visa status
    • Acclimating yourself to American culture and life at 58³Ô¹ÏÍø
    • Utilizing academic advising
    • Understanding work opportunities in the US
    • Student support services available at 58³Ô¹ÏÍø and CWRU
    • Establishing bank accounts, ID cards, etc.
