To everything there is a season in this eclectic patchwork quilt of a program! Acclaimed soprano Susanna Phillips brings her blend of vigor, expressive depth and tonal splendor (San Francisco Chronicle) to her CFC debut with a freewheeling mini cabaret. Next up, HK Grubers charmingly experimental MOB pieces make an intriguing pairing with Martin轡s musical soap opera based on the love life of kitchen utensils. (Really.) The program culminates with one of the most famous and influential theatrics of all time: the relentless, seductive, revolutionary The Rite of Spring.
